Criteria was founded in 2006 and is based in Los Angeles, California. The company has customers all over the United States and in over 60 different countries worldwide.

At Aptitude-test.com we offer comprehensive practice materials for the CCAT, CBST, and WTMA Criteria tests.

Criteria's HireSelect testing service includes the following employment aptitude tests:

Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT)

The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a general aptitude test that measures your critical thinking, problem-solving skills, reasoning ability, and ability to learn.

The test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions covering three subcategories: verbal, math & logic, and spatial reasoning.

Universal Cognitive Aptitude Test (UCAT)

The UCAT is a language-independent general aptitude test. Like the CCAT, it measures critical thinking, logic, attention to detail, and analytical skills. It is designed to be easily translatable, making it especially suitable for international use.

The test consists of 40 questions with a 20-minute time limit. It is similar to the CCAT and contains many of the same questions, excluding the verbal questions.

Criteria Basic Skills Test (CBST)

The Criteria Basic Skills Test (CBST) has been designed to determine job readiness and predict potential candidates’ "trainability". The CBST is a 40-question, multiple-choice test with a 20-minute time limit.

The test consists of a wide range of verbal and mathematical questions.

Wiesen Test of Mechanical Aptitude (WTMA)

The Wiesen Test of Mechanical Aptitude (WTMA) is a mechanical comprehension test. The WTMA evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand basic physical principles and apply them to various scenarios. A candidate’s score on the WTMA should predict their ability to learn to use, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery.

MiniCog Rapid Assessment Battery (MRAB)

The MRAB is an aptitude assessment that measures the candidate’s ability to process information, including specific cognitive functions such as attention, working memory, and reasoning ability.

Criteria Attention Skills Test (CAST)

The CAST measures a person's concentration and ability to sustain focus on one or more tasks while avoiding distractions.

General Aptitude Mobile Evaluation (GAME)

The GAME is the first mobile, game-based assessment that measures cognitive aptitude through 3 short games in just 5 to 6 minutes.

Criteria Mechanical Reasoning Assessment (CMRA)

The CMRA is a 15-minute, mobile-friendly test that measures an individual's mechanical aptitude or ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery.

Employee Personality Profile (EPP)

The EPP takes about 10 minutes to complete and measures the following traits: Achievement, Assertiveness, Competitiveness, Conscientiousness, Cooperativeness, Extroversion, Managerial, Motivation, Openness, Patience, Self-Confidence, and Stress Tolerance.

The EPP is based on the Big Five or Five Factor model. Try a free sample test and read more about the Big Five personality test.
