Spatial Reasoning Sub-test
Timed
Welcome to the Spatial Reasoning Test. This assessment is designed to measure your Spatial reasoning ability. The test consists of 10 questions. Please read the following instructions carefully before starting the test.
Test Overview:
- Number of Questions: 10
- Time Allotment: 60 seconds per question
- Question Format: The test includes two types of spatial reasoning questions:
- 3D Spatial Rotation
You will see a 3-dimensional target object and four 3-dimensional answer objects. Only one answer object is identical to the target object, although it may be rotated.
- 3D Cube Folding
You will see a 2-dimensional cube net and four 3-dimensional cube options. Only one of the cubes can be made by folding the net.
- Task: For each question, examine the target image or cube net carefully and select the correct answer option.
Detailed Instructions:
- Test Layout
- Each question will be displayed one at a time.
- A timer will be displayed on the screen to help you keep track of the time.
- If the 60-second timer runs out, you will automatically be taken to the next question.
- When you have answered a question, the 'Next' button will appear, allowing you to navigate to the next question.
- You will not be able to navigate to any of the previous questions.
- Answering the Question:
For each question, look carefully at the image shown at the top and compare it with the four answer options below.
You will either need to:
- identify the matching rotated 3D object, or
- identify the 3D cube that can be folded from the 2D net.
Select your answer and click “Next”.
- Completing the Test:
- At question 10, you will see an “End” button, which you may select to finish the test.
- Your results will be calculated based on your responses.
Important Notes:
- The difficulty of each item is randomized, meaning they are presented in no specific order.
- There are no penalties for incorrect answers, so it's better to make an educated guess than to leave a question unanswered.
- Ensure you are in a quiet environment free from distractions to maintain concentration throughout the test.
Good luck, and do your best!
