Aircraft D:

Starts at 35,000 feet and descends at 1750 feet per minute.

Solution:
Let us find the time it takes each aircraft to arrive at 10,000 feet:

Aircraft A:

Altitude to descend: 20,500 – 10,000 = 10,500 feet
Minutes to descend: 10,500 / 750 = 14 minutes

Aircraft B:

Altitude to descend: 28,500 – 10,000 = 18,500 feet
Minutes to descend: 18,500 / 1250 = 14.8 minutes

Aircraft C:

Altitude to descend: 18,500 – 10,000 = 8,500 feet
Minutes to descend: 8,500 feet / 500 = 17 minutes

Aircraft D:

Altitude to descend: 35,000 – 10,000 = 25,000 feet
Minutes to descend: 25,000 / 1750 = 14.28 minutes

So, Aircraft A will reach 10,000 feet first.
